It started with yet another fake account on X, pretending to be Elon Musk. At first I didn’t take it seriously, because these messages had become almost routine.
But this time it escalated faster. The account started pushing for a personal photo, something private, something I did not want to share.
This kind of pressure has become strangely normal on platforms like X. Fake accounts often follow the same pattern: attention, trust, then demands for private images.
I didn’t argue. I didn’t continue the conversation. I blocked the account.
After that, I stepped away from the screen, picked up my sheet music, and went into the garden. I needed silence, not replies.
Fake accounts, no matter what name they use, always feel unsettling in the same way. It becomes a pattern that is hard to ignore once you recognize it.
If you ever encounter something similar, the only real advice is simple: step away and protect your space. Don’t engage longer than necessary.
Es begann wieder mit einem Fake-Account auf X, der sich als Elon Musk ausgab. Anfangs habe ich das nicht ernst genommen, weil solche Nachrichten schon fast normal geworden waren.
Aber diesmal eskalierte es schneller. Der Account wollte plötzlich ein persönliches Foto von mir, etwas Privates, das ich nicht teilen wollte.
Dieser Druck ist auf solchen Plattformen inzwischen fast schon Standard: Erst Kontakt, dann Vertrauen, dann Forderungen nach privaten Inhalten.
Ich habe nicht diskutiert und nicht weiter geantwortet. Ich habe den Account blockiert.
Danach bin ich weg vom Bildschirm, habe meine Notenblätter genommen und bin in den Garten gegangen. Ich brauchte Ruhe, keine Nachrichten.
Fakes, egal wie sie sich nennen mögen, wirken auf mich inzwischen einfach nur noch gruselig. Sobald man das Muster einmal erkennt, sieht man es überall wieder.
Und heute würde ich dazu sagen: Wenn euch so etwas begegnet, dann geht weg. Lauft weg so schnell ihr könnt! Nicht diskutieren, nicht reinziehen lassen – schützt euch selbst.
