The fakes on X are really boring.

Let's take a look at this account.

The account has existed since June 2016.
At the time of the screenshot it already had a strange follower ratio.
He follows 105 accounts and has only 2 followers – even though the account has been around since June 2016?
So… Mom and Dad?

And the funniest part: the account is from Nigeria!
And it just happens to land on my friend's account?
Exactly the person who sends me the screenshots for publication?

On top of that, my friend cannot be messaged on x.com (his DMs are set to nobody) – and I myself have not been on X since 12 January 2026. I deactivated my account myself and I don't regret a single day of it!

These fakes exist on all platforms, unfortunately.
The platforms do nothing effective against them.
After all, they probably earn money from every little view and they don't want that profit spoiled.

The only option you have is to block messages and never make contact with these fakes. That would never end well.

The only thing you can do is what my friend does: report them and block them.
Push the work back onto the platforms! Just do it the way my friend does! Protect yourselves from harm!

Der Account besteht seit Juni 2016.
Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme hatte er schon ein queres Followerverhältnis.
Also Er folgt 105 Following und er hat nur 2 Follower obwohl der Account seit Juni 2016 besteht?
Also Mama und Papa?

Und das lustigste ist der Account kommt aus Nigeria!
Und landet ausgerechnet auf dem Account meines Freundes?
Grade der Person, die mir zur Veröffentlichung die Screenshots sendet?

Zudem kann mein Freund nicht angeschrieben werden auf x.com – und ich bin schon seit 12. Januar 2026 nicht mehr bei X. Ich habe meinen Account selbst deaktiviert und bereue keinen einzigen Tag davon!

Diese Fakes gibt es leider auf allen Plattformen.
Die Plattformen unternehmen nichts effektives gegen diese Fakes.
Schliesslich verdienen sie vermutlich an jeden kleinen view und diesen Gewinn lassen sie sich nicht vermasseln.

Die einzige Möglichkeit die man hat ist das man Nachrichten blockt und auf keinen Fall mit diesen Fakes Kontakt aufnimmt. Sowas würde nie gut enden.

Das einzige was man tun kann ist wie mein Freund diese Fakes melden und blocken.
Schiebt den Plattformen die Arbeit zu! Macht es einfach wie mein Freund es vormacht! Bewahrt Euch vor Schaden!
