X and its Traffic Thieves

It’s rare for a day to pass without Rene chatting publicly with Grok and the army of traffic thieves immediately showing up. They like, repost and share – all to steal traffic from normal users who usually don’t even notice.

X and Elon Musk don’t seem to care. As long as the revenue keeps coming in, normal users apparently aren’t a priority.

Examples

First example: A typical fake Elon
This account (@MuskElon26475 or similar) hands out hearts and reposts German content – obviously trying to siphon traffic. The purpose? Probably just to grab reach.

These fakes seem to have plenty of time: They swarm around, insert themselves uninvited into profiles and wait like mayflies for an opportunity – often targeting harmless or older users.

My favorite: The Nigerian Elon Musk

Absurd but true: Another fake from Nigeria pretending to be Elon Musk. Almost comical – as if suddenly everyone is “Negan” from The Walking Dead (“We are all Negan”).

Just the name in the profile “Massage me now” – who voluntarily massages a typo like that? Certainly not me. I left X in good conscience and haven’t regretted a single day since. What shocks me is that absolutely nothing changes there.

Conclusion

Stay careful, no matter which platform – X, Meta or anywhere else. The fake problem is everywhere.

X und Elon Musk scheint das nicht zu stören. Solange der Gewinn stimmt, wird an normale User offenbar wenig gedacht.

Passt auf euch auf, egal auf welcher Plattform – X, Meta oder anderswo. Das Fake-Problem ist überall.
