Today I'm juggling my components and fine-tuning the small details before I can put it all together. I'm working in VS Code, of course – for Python there's nothing better, as far as I'm concerned. Take a close look at the closing image below and maybe you can guess what I'm building.

On the side, another suspicious profile showed up yesterday, quietly slipping into a friend's profile. The account @welck_mercedes75 has been registered since June 2026 and already follows 563 unsuspecting users, yet had only 18 followers itself at the time of the screenshot – and, of course, it carries another untrustworthy link in its bio. Strikingly, this profile looks remarkably similar to the suspicious account from the day before. What are we supposed to make of that? My friend reported and blocked the profile; the images below speak for themselves.

And the question remains: what do these English-language profiles actually want with EU citizens?

Heute jongliere ich zwischen meinen Komponenten und feile an den kleinen Details, bevor ich alles zusammenfügen kann. Gearbeitet wird natürlich in VS Code – für Python gibt es für mich nichts Besseres. Wer genau hinsieht, erkennt im Abschlussbild unten vielleicht, woran ich gerade bastle.

Nebenbei trudelte gestern wieder ein verdächtiges Profil ein, das sich heimlich in das Profil eines Freundes gesetzt hat. Der Account @welck_mercedes75 ist seit Juni 2026 registriert, folgt bereits 563 ahnungslosen Usern, hatte zum Zeitpunkt des Screenshots aber selbst nur 18 Follower – und trägt natürlich wieder einen nicht vertrauenswürdigen Link im Profil. Auffällig ist, dass dieses Profil dem verdächtigen Account vom Vortag verblüffend ähnlich sieht. Was soll man da noch denken? Mein Freund hat das Profil gemeldet und blockiert; die Bilder unten sprechen für sich.

Und die Frage bleibt: Was bezwecken diese englischsprachigen Profile eigentlich bei EU-Bürgern?
