Ein mutmaßlicher Alice-Weidel-Fake auf X

This is really strange.

A good friend discovered a suspected fake account on X pretending to be Alice Weidel. According to the account information, the account is associated with Africa.

As usual, the pattern looks familiar:

An old account that was probably taken over and renamed.
Very few followers compared to the number of accounts it follows.
The profile picture, name and bio appear to have been copied from a real political account.

These are exactly the kind of suspected fake accounts that mix with real politician accounts, repost content or may later be used for questionable activities and scams.

This is simply annoying and only causes trouble for ordinary users.

And what is X doing about it? Is it really necessary that well-known German politicians also have to deal with these imitation accounts?

When will X finally take stronger action against such fake accounts?

Es ist wirklich schräg.

Ein guter Freund entdeckte einen mutmaßlichen Fake-Account auf X, der sich als Alice Weidel ausgibt. Laut der Account-Informationen wird der Account mit Afrika in Verbindung gebracht.

Wie so oft zeigt sich dabei ein typisches Muster:

Ein altes Konto, das vermutlich übernommen und umbenannt wurde.
Sehr wenige Follower im Verhältnis zu den gefolgten Accounts.
Profilbild, Name und Bio wirken wie von einem echten Politiker-Account übernommen.

Das ist genau die Sorte mutmaßlicher Fake-Accounts, die sich unter echte Politiker-Accounts mischen, Beiträge reposten oder später für fragwürdige Zwecke und Scams genutzt werden können.

Sowas ist einfach nur nervig und bringt den betroffenen normalen Usern nichts als Ärger ein.
