Dokumentation eines weiteren mutmaßlichen Fake-Accounts auf X: @ReevenMr, Impersonation, Spam-Muster, Report-Funktion und die automatisierte Antwort der Plattform.
And Again: Impersonation on Platform X
Once again, a suspicious fake account appeared in connection with my boyfriend’s profile on X, formerly Twitter — quietly and without any direct warning. My boyfriend reported and blocked the account.
The question remains: what does X actually do when impersonation, fake profiles, spam accounts or bot-like behavior are reported?
A closer look at the account
The account uses the name Mr musk Reeven and the handle @ReevenMr. The wording appears to be a reference to Elon Musk’s middle name. At the time of the screenshots, the profile followed 64 users and had one follower. The account was created in July 2026.
According to the “About this account” information shown in the screenshot, the account is based in the United States and connected via the United States App Store.
The profile appears to repost content only. From my observation, this is a recurring pattern often seen with suspicious fake accounts, spam profiles, bot accounts and impersonation attempts on X.
The report and the automated answer
My boyfriend submitted a report and blocked the account. The automated email from X states that no violation was found and refers specifically to “Violent Speech”.
That answer does not really address the concern documented here. The issue was not violent speech, but a suspected impersonation profile, a fake-account pattern and possible spam behavior.
For EU users, this raises fair questions: Is the reporting process clear enough? Are reports about fake accounts and impersonation handled in a way that is understandable? And how does this fit with platform responsibility under the EU Digital Services Act, also known as the DSA?
I am documenting these screenshots here in my archive so that other internet users can recognize this pattern and stay alert.

Und wieder Impersonation auf der Plattform X
Erneut ist ein auffälliger Fake-Account im Umfeld des X-Profils meines Freundes aufgetaucht — still und ohne direkte Vorwarnung. Mein Freund hat den Account gemeldet und blockiert.
Die Frage bleibt: Was passiert auf X tatsächlich, wenn Impersonation, Fake-Profile, Spam-Accounts oder botähnliches Verhalten gemeldet werden?
Ein genauerer Blick auf das Konto
Das Konto nutzt den Namen Mr musk Reeven und den Handle @ReevenMr. Die Formulierung wirkt wie eine Anspielung auf den Zweitnamen von Elon Musk. Zum Zeitpunkt der Screenshots folgte das Profil 64 Nutzern und hatte einen Follower. Erstellt wurde das Konto im Juli 2026.
Laut der im Screenshot sichtbaren Information „About this account“ ist das Konto in den United States verortet und über den United States App Store verbunden.
Das Profil scheint ausschließlich Inhalte zu reposten. Aus meiner Sicht ist das ein wiederkehrendes Muster, das häufig bei verdächtigen Fake-Accounts, Spam-Profilen, Bot-Accounts und Impersonation-Versuchen auf X zu beobachten ist.
Die Meldung und die automatische Antwort
Mein Freund hat den Account gemeldet und blockiert. Die automatische E-Mail von X teilt mit, dass kein Regelverstoß festgestellt wurde, und bezieht sich dabei ausdrücklich auf „Violent Speech“.
Genau das wirkt am Thema vorbei. Hier ging es aus meiner Sicht nicht um gewalttätige Sprache, sondern um ein mutmaßliches Impersonation-Profil, ein Fake-Account-Muster und mögliches Spam-Verhalten.
Für EU-Nutzer wirft dieser Ablauf berechtigte Fragen auf: Ist der Meldeprozess klar genug? Werden Meldungen zu Fake-Accounts und Impersonation verständlich bearbeitet? Und wie passt das zur Plattformverantwortung nach dem EU Digital Services Act, kurz DSA?
Ich dokumentiere diese Screenshots deshalb hier in meinem Archiv, damit andere Nutzerinnen und Nutzer dieses Muster erkennen und vorsichtig bleiben können.
