Fake Elon Musk Impersonator Targets My Profile
On October 5, 2025, I noticed a fake account impersonating Elon Musk had inserted itself into my profile activity.
The account "Mr Musk" (@Mr_Musk04) used a stolen profile picture of Elon Musk and tried to interact with me. Instead of waiting for further contact, I immediately went on the offensive and sent the following reply:
„Hey @Mr_Musk04, Thanks for the follow and your interest, but are you actually Elon or just another wannabe in the 99+ clone parade? What do you even want from me? I’m not buying anything! I’m exposing ALL the so-called Elon Musks messaging me, bit by bit. Check out my profile and read my blog... Only after you’ve read it, maybe we can talk. But please, don’t ghost me like a Tesla recall!“
After the fake account did not respond, I blocked it immediately.
This is a classic example of impersonation tactics on X. Such accounts try to gain attention and trust by pretending to be Elon Musk. Quick and clear pushback is often the best response.

Am 05. Oktober 2025 bemerkte ich, dass sich ein Fake-Account, der sich als Elon Musk ausgab, in mein Profil gedrängt hatte.
Das Konto „Mr Musk“ (@Mr_Musk04) nutzte ein gestohlenes Profilbild und versuchte, mit mir in Kontakt zu treten. Statt abzuwarten, bin ich sofort zum Angriff übergegangen und habe folgende Antwort geschickt:

Da der Fake-Account nicht antwortete, habe ich ihn direkt blockiert.
Dies ist ein klassisches Beispiel für Impersonation auf X. Solche Accounts versuchen, Aufmerksamkeit und Vertrauen zu gewinnen, indem sie sich als Elon Musk ausgeben. Schnelle und klare Gegenwehr ist oft die beste Strategie.
